QUOTABLES!
quote of the day
We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

I'd like to see THE ASTEROIDS GALAXY TOUR get more attention. Great modern pop. Perfectly danceable. Totally global. "My Club" is perfection. "The Sun Ain't Shining No More", "Major", "The Golden Age", "Around The Bend" and more. All great songs. Lead singer METTE LINDBERG is super talented. Got the voice, swagger and style. Not hard to look at either. Good live band too... Terry Gilliam’s lost animations from Monty Python and the Holy Grail... Cool stuff: MIT's shapeshifting display... About to start season 3 of SUNDANCETV's RECTIFY. Really a wonderful sleeper of show. No spoilers but it's about crimes, punishment, family, love, mercy, regret, forgiveness, accusations, redemptions, paranoia, good, evil, life, deals, justice, memory, responsibility, moving on, death and more. A quiet show that packs a huge punch... Breaking waves calm the mind... In retrospect, my heart surgery was like a catnap. The recovery gone sideways is very traumatic. It has me thinking a lot about healthcare and the disruption of it. Communications and relationships between doctors and their patients. How to make the system better. Even if you have a voice, money, influence and connections it can go bad for you. Imagine what it's like for those that don't. If you have major issues and do not have an advocate, you've likely already been beaten by the system. More people have similar stories than I thought. You?... Just a few retro movie reminders - LEONARDO DICAPRIO should have won the OSCAR for THE DEPARTED. Insane that he did not. And, oh, JOHN WICK was a perfect over-the-top action-fun-popcorn movie. One of my favorite classic films: LOST HORIZON (1937) ...
