The media already has an influence on the paychecks of the league’s top players since its All-NBA team voting can cost players money, but to also now have a say in who goes to the ALL-STAR GAME seems foolhardy. At least baseball’s HALL OF FAME and awards voters can argue that they’re following tradition – hardly a binding argument, but still. Presumably, some media members had to agree to take on this burden. I just can’t understand why... I'd put money down if there was a DANCING WITH THE STARS fantasy league.
