There is so much money in venture backed startups that it's hard to find talent. Good talent gets big money. Bad talent gets big money. Everyone wants their own startup. Freelance is preferred amongst many as it's a seller's market. People who have no business managing manage. If the bottom drops out it's going to be super interesting to see what happens to the bad talent and freelancers that never knew a tough job market.
