Good morning from Los Angeles. I am sending this a day late since I figured you didn’t need to hear from me during the Super Bowl. (It was one of the most exciting games in memory, and also the most expensive.)
I was in Las Vegas for about 30 hours, and the most-discussed topic among executives — other than Taylor Swift’s whereabouts — was a new joint venture between Fox, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery. The three media giants are creating a sports streaming service that will include live feeds of channels such as ESPN and TNT for an undisclosed price.
