Lou Dobbs Slams ‘Morons’ Criticizing Trump Over Putin Summit: ‘This is Stupid Stuff’

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs went on the warpath on Monday night — slamming those who panned President Donald Trump‘s summit with Vladimir Putin.

As he blasted Trump’s critics for not being angrier at Barack Obama while he was still president, Dobbs introduced guests Ed Rollins and Michael Goodwin and endeavored to find out whether they concurred with his take.

Rollins, who heads the Great America PAC, suggested that Trump should “have a lobotomy” to stop thinking about 2016 and focus more on being tough on Putin.

Dobbs disagreed, and he made it clear during a rant in which he trashed Trump’s critics, particularly John Brennan because of how the former CIA director called the president’s display “treasonous.”

“I think that president handled himself perfectly. What would it have taken to satisfy the morons on those clips? And what is his name, Brennan? He’s the biggest joke I have seen. What is he supposed to say? We’re settling this now, toe-to-toe with the Russkies, we’ll see who’s ICBM gets to which city the fastest? This is stupid stuff, this beyond the pale, as far as I’m concerned.”

Dobbs went on to defend Trump’s rebuke of the intelligence community by joining the president and going after Hillary Clinton and the DNC. He also dismissed the recent indictments of 12 Russian military intelligence officers as “hearsay,” and he also butted heads some more with Rollins and Goodwin when they expressed doubt that the summit was a success, as Dobbs argued.
