Tonight, Kendrick Lamar performed the halftime show at the CFP National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia, where President Donald Trump was in attendance. During the performance, which was broadcast live on ESPN, Lamar did “DNA.,” “ELEMENT.,” “HUMBLE.” and his new single “All the Stars” (without SZA). At no point during the performance did he address the president. Lamar performed at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, while the game itself was played at nearby Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Trump wasn’t physically in attendance for the performance and reportedly left before Lamar began. Watch it happen below.

While Lamar’s new album DAMN. is political and arrived following Trump’s election, he’s only rarely called out the president by name. “I mean, it's like beating a dead horse,” he said to Rolling Stone. “We already know what it is.” President Barack Obama recently shared his favorite songs of 2017, which included a track by Kendrick.
